does social media factor into who you get bids from?

I didn't really use Instagram in high school. Should I post more pics and get more followers so I get a bid during recruitment? or do sororities not look at that?

They’ll say they don’t but they do. Higher tier sororities are associated with high social media presence and have hella followers. But grades and actually having a good convo in the houses during recruitment are more important. There’s some influence on social media but not enough that it’ll effect you

I keep wondering this too. I haven't used IG In over a year and I know a lot of the girls have 1000s of followers so I wondered how it would effect me

There are over a thousand PNMs that go through Recruitment so it’s basically impossible for them to look at ALL the PNMs social media. When they get down to pref night they might look at yours but they’re not gonna drop you if you don’t have a lot of followers 😂
