new sorority vs rushing next year?

I would most definitely wait until next fall and rush as a sophomore. Formal recruitment is a taxing process but I believe it is well worth it because that way, you can actually get a feel of all the houses and find which one would be a fit for you rather than just settling for a new sorority you know you will probably get into but don't know that well (cause I don't think anyone really knows them yet/its an unpredictable future for them). You might like phi sig and it could be a great fit for you but again I would go with the formal process so you approach all sororities with an open mind hopefully
