junior rushing?

Would it even be possible for a junior to rush successfully in the fall? By successfully I mean just getting a bid from a house that they wanted. I'm transferring to JMU and I wanted to know want my odd were for getting into a sorority. I know a lot of current sisters in sororites at JMU as well as alums, and a have a 3.0 GPA with a good resume, but i also feel like it might be a waste to do it so late. Honest opinions please?

Basically as long as you fit in no one cares what year you are for most sororitys
