Sig Ep used to be the kind of guys in love with confederate flags. Doesn't make them "southern" though.

Lol yea compared to everyone else SX, DX and KS are "southern" but the definition of southern at jmu is anyone from Virginia but not from Nova or VB.

SX, DX and KS are about as fake of fraternities as CNN is fake news.

this is jmu...nobody is southern lol, the southern state we have the most undergrads from is NC with only 16. The out of states comes from the north

Sigma Chi is far from southern. Nova kids don't count. That said, the only traditionally non southern fraternities here are KA, Pike, ATO. Every other fraternity, including kappa sig and delta chi, you'll find many more Virginia kids, but you'll also have a healthy dose of kids from Maryland and up. If you want to join a fraternity with a fair number of southern kids, don't waste your time on KS, DX, SX. Join like Pikap, signu, lambda chee, or SigEp

Even KA is becoming more "southern", their president is from Lynchburg and they have a good amount of kids from Richmond, especially compared to the KA of a few years ago that was all LI and New England kids
