1. Be yourself
2. Don't get your heart set on a certain sorority
3. Bring perfume and deordarant.
4. Stay open-minded
5. Don't go off what you think the sorority's stereotypes are, cause they aren't true.
6. GET OFF THIS SITE!!! Seriously I went off this site when I was rushing and I told myself I would never join the sorority I joined cause of their bad reputation on here and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my sorority!!! This site is SOOOOOO inaccurate.

i honestly wouldn't. there are certain sororities here where i would feel significantly judged walking around in their letters... as awful as that sounds, it would take the enjoyment out of it.

???? - thats a great attitude and keeping that will land you in exactly the home you belong in.
to ^ - i dont know what sorority you have in mind writing that, but that could be applied to every sorority at jmu - every one has negative and positive sterotypes. people get judged on the letters they wear and thats true, that doesnt make the experience of being in that sorority not a great one

I totally did not mean it that way! I was just saying that you should feel comfortable and proud to say you're in xyz sorority, and be able to say you are with enthusiasm. So whichever sorority you feel like you would LOVE to wear their letters, that's usually the one you pick! Nothing against any sorority at jmu, they're all great (:

After last years disaster (poor pnms) BRING AN UMBRELLA!!!!! and if you know it's supposed to rain try not to bring your backpacks, especially if they have laptops In them!!! There was like a rain delay last year so all the PNMs had to go inside it started raining so bad and a bunch of laptops and notes got ruined and outfits/make up too!
