Just so everyone knows, a lot of sororities at major schools do all of these things. They may be try hards in the eyes of other JMU sororities, but go to schools like Alabama and that's the norm. They're great girls, sorry they actually put in effort

I agree. My best friend is in alpha phi and I do like a lot of the girls however they do try way too hard and they do a lot of things you aren't supposed to which is what causes a lot of sororities to get mad and dislike them. They bid promise, dirty rush, have a professionally made recruitment video, apparently sent out postcards to 2020 girls, have legit try outs for fraternity sport philanthropy events (this isn't against the rules but it shows a lot about their character) and the list goes on... I have nothing personal against aphi but I'm just stating the facts...
