Is it uncommon for sophomores to rush, and are they less likely to get into a sorority?

Not at all! About 8 or so girls in my pledge class were sophomores. Yes, it is less common, and you're more likely to get a bid as a freshman, but as long as you're sweet and outgoing you'll be fine! :) It also helps to have a high GPA as a sophomore rush, as that can influence their decision a lot more.
