Theta Chi - ΘΧ Fraternity at James Madison University - JMU 1.0 They have no housing and their all kind of ugly. Their parties are mid and have like odd behavior around girls. They run out of drinks very fast. There are way better frats don't go here.

Theta Chi - ΘΧ Fraternity at James Madison University - JMU 1.0 I’m not really a fan of this chapter. They come off as kind of off-putting overall. Chum, for one, and on top of that, they act really strange whenever they’re around girls. It’s like they don’t really know how to interact in a respectful or comfortable way, which just gives off an awkward vibe. It makes people feel uneasy, and it’s definitely something that stands out in a negative way. There’s nothing majorly offensive, but the overall behavior feels off, and that alone makes it hard to feel good about this chapter or recommend it to others.

Theta Chi - ΘΧ Fraternity at James Madison University - JMU 5.0 Best Frat Experience! I’ve been to a lot of different frat parties, but this one was easily one of the best! From the moment my friends and I walked in, the guys were super welcoming and actually made an effort to make sure everyone felt comfortable. There was no weird, exclusive vibe—just a fun, energetic atmosphere where people actually wanted to have a good time. The house itself was surprisingly clean for a frat, and they had an awesome setup—great lighting, a solid DJ, and plenty of space to dance. The drinks were well-mixed (not just random jungle juice that tastes like regret), and they always made sure everyone was taken care of. What really stood out was how respectful and friendly the guys were. Instead of just standing around in their own groups, they actually talked to people and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. No one was overly pushy, which is something I really appreciate at parties. The outdoor area was a great bonus—it gave people a chance to step away from the crowd, cool off, and actually have conversations. The whole night had such a fun and carefree energy, and you could tell the guys put effort into making it a good experience for everyone. Overall, this is definitely one of the best fraternities I’ve been to. I’ll 100% be coming back, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a great time with a fun and respectful group of people!

Theta Chi - ΘΧ Fraternity at James Madison University - JMU 5.0 Delta Upsilon (ΔΥ), commonly known as DU, is a collegiate men’s fraternity founded on November 4, 1834, at Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. It holds the distinction of being the sixth-oldest men’s college fraternity in North America and the first to be established as non-secret. Founding Principles and Early Development The fraternity was established by 30 men from Williams College who sought to create a society that stood in contrast to the prevailing secret organizations of the time. Their aim was to promote open and free discussion, welcoming “all good men and true.” This commitment to non-secrecy was encapsulated in their motto, Ouden Adelon, meaning “Nothing Secret.” In 1847, Delta Upsilon expanded its reach by forming the Anti-Secret Confederation with chapters from Union College, Middlebury College, and Amherst College. This alliance reinforced their dedication to transparency and justice. Adoption of the Delta Upsilon Name By 1864, the fraternity had grown to include multiple chapters.
