gpa requirement

So, I did pretty bad my first year at ucsb. Not bad enough to be on academic probation, but bad enough to barely meet the 2.5 min gpa requirement for rushing. I'm rushing as a second year, and just wanted to know if meeting the 2.5 min is actually that important, and if it'll impact me when I rush. I don't want to go through with registration and rush if that rule is pretty concrete.

Depends on the house, most of them wont have an issue with it. Definitely not a reason not to go through the process.
