I’m not in Greek life but looking at it from the outside, aphi is definitely the top house, undisputed. Their girls are a good balance between pretty, smart, and fun, but I will say that they’re not as nice/friendly to strangers. Their sisterhood is generally strong, but a lot of the athletes keep to themselves and maybe even look down upon the non-athletes in the sorority. So if they stop doing that, then aphi would get 5 stars for sure!!

There are a handful of aphi girls who are sweethearts and are very kind, but overall I think the sorority is overrated. They don't seem to be a very sisterly sorority. More than 80% is your white basic girl. Some are very pretentious and annoying and act entitled bc they are "aphi" girls. Not all, but a large number. And that dirty rushing, yikes. -posted in 2017

Overall I am disappointed in the direction this sorority has been heading over the last 4 or so years. They used to be firmly second behind phi mu but an incredibly kind and diverse group of women. Then by trying to become competitive with phi mu, they have lost their diversity of women and the sisterhood has gone way downhill. They so-called popularity over personality. They recruit friend groups who never end up merging into one cohesive pledge class. Congrats, APhi. You're top tier. But at what cost?

NEW ON GREEKRANK

Most people want to drop once they are in it. They never actually get close with each other and a lot of them are on sports teams so they usually just end up doing their own thing as opposed to going to events. Phi my is deff the better choice imo

Aphi dirty rushes and anyone mildly interesting wants to drop once they’re in. Sisterhood is weak and they don’t even like each other. They mix with the top frats but none of the guys are really close with them like they are with IX and phi Mu .

I was an Alpha Phi in another school and I can confirm that our national sorority tells us to recruit based on looks. Therefore, there is an actual clause to rank girls based on if they are pretty or not before they even get to the house and there are multiple rankings based off of solely beauty throughout the recruitment process! It's disgusting and no self-respecting, smart woman would be an Alpha Phi..
