why r we hating on kd

I know! They are Top I love the KD girls and I’m not even in their house I got cut 3rd round but I still really believe they’re nice and have so much to offer. KD is amazing.

Yes! Someone had to say it. I’ve seen KD getting hated on for no reason all the time on this website. So they self rank? Are we gonna act like Kappa and GPhi don’t self rank every hour? KD has some cool ass girls. I’m friends with a lot of them. Their house is so diverse, literally anyone can vibe with at least one girl in that house. If we are gonna hate on anyone, can we please hate on some frats??

They've done well in shows and I love my KD friends! But if you're going to rank houses I think it has to be on what houses the pnms coming in want. If bottom house XYZ wins hoco, they don't just become a top house even if they got a great class. The top houses are the ones that the girls want and you only know that if you're dealing with recruitment. We have to read a lot of resumes and look at a lot of pictures and generally know who the top girls are. Top girls are ones that are valedictorians, stuco presidents, plc, national merit, well-connected, very active, already known to girls in the house, clean social, well put together even if they're not just gorgeous, etc. That doesn't mean that KD doesn't get some great girls, but they're not in the mix to get the girls I described.

That sounds elitist maybe but so is the whole greek system. It's not like the spirit club in high school where everyone who wants to join just does. The houses are selective and the girls are selective. So look at which houses are most selective (XO, GPB, KAT, KKG) and you'll have the top houses.

But don't get discouraged, KD! You're a great house and got a lot of great girls!
