which sororities to rush?

Alpha omicron pi has a real good sisterhood though bottom tier yet better than pi phi. Delta gamma is real fun and doesn't really have much drama. Alpha xi delta isn't that bad but has improved a lot. Chi omega is pretty good one. DG and Aoii would probably be top 2 in my opinion. Not based on looks whatsoever.

AoPi - (3/3), normal/very average, huge melting pot of girls that get dropped from all the houses but still want to stay in Greek life

Alpha Phi - (1/3), took the hottest and best pledge classes the last couple of years, come off as intimidating and perfect

Alpha Xi Delta - (2/3), used to be the hottest sisterhood here until last year, filled with a lot of Jersey/NY girls, kind of wild

Chi O - (2/3), chill girls, kind of like hippies but still mix well with frats, a lot of great girls and beatus filled within

Delta Gamma - (1/3), also filled with NJ/NY girls, beautiful, sororityty, frats love them

Kappa Kappa Gamma - (1/3), number one here at WVU, sororityty, beautiful, best frat relations, brains, etc.

Sigma Kappa - (2/3), your girls next door, great frat relations, all the frats love them, mixture of great girls

Pi Beta Phi - (3/3), last ranked house here, filled with awkos and randos, wouldn't recommend whatsoever


(So I would stay anywhere except AoPi and Pi Phi)

I agree with everyone on here. You really can't go wrong on feeling included and welcomed as long as you steer clear of alpha phi. The rest of the houses have such great girls. I also agree sisterhood wise AOP and DG are def the best. And everyone is gona tell you Kappa, Alpha Phi, and DG r top tier here but don't let those be the only houses u want or you r gonna b disappointed with your choice. Look into all the houses.

Thanks everyone. I'm already staying clear of alpha phi for sure and pretty sure I'm a no for pi phi yet will so give aopi a chance though bottom tier. I'm all about the sisterhood so looks aren't important. Probably

I recently went thru rush and it's honestly what YOU feel. Everyone is throwing their opinion down your thrown and I almost didn't go thru recruitment bc of these reviews but it was the best decision I have made. I would never go for a "top tier" house because that wouldn't be the house for ME. That may be the perfect fit for you but I don't see that they have great sisterhood as the sorority that I'm in now. Also, Pi Phi didn't kick any one "out" of their sorority and there's no problem with quota. If you actually knew anything about greek you would know it doesnt work that way in the first place. You need to go through and get a feel for the houses yourself and not what these people are telling you bc of course they want to get as many people as they can to like them as possible.

I agree. I left my top tier house because I wasn't happy. I thought I was supposed to join there because of looks. Besides the cute Instagram posts? What did we have? Nothing. I know so many girls who went for lower-ranked houses and love Greek life, while I'm completely out of it. Go where you feel comfortable and disregard what anyone says.

If your looking for a house that has a good sisterhood, frat relations , reputation, just all around solid house I would go DG or ChiO. These two r pretty solid all around without the pettiness and judgemental attitudes of other sororities on campus. I'm met alot of really nice girls in these two sororities.

You just sound like a desperate alum. Ouch!

To future rush girl, stop trying to blatantly advertise for AoPi. I highly doubt that many girls would ever choose that house as their first pick... let's be rational and honest now!
