There is a true mix of girls at Kappa. To put them all in one category isnt fair which makes Greekrank the worst way to make a decision about a sorority. The kappas I know are cool, pretty, smart and fun. They definitely are not the ones that wrote the below messages about a previous member. Not only are those statements false but the Kappa girls I know wouldn’t say that about her or anyone else like that publicly. It’s a competitive time right now and other sororities will do and say whatever they can to get the most and best PNMs. It’s unfortunate it is at the expense of one person in these posts. No one sorority is perfect, but at Kappa there is a match for about any type of girl. Don’t let the few Kappas that posted on here sway your decision about Kappa. Stay alert to the other sororities that are trying to make Kappa look bad-Good luck

Pi Phi is a great sorority ,and really nice girls. Pretty, fun, guys like them PiPhi has a great sisterhood.

these girls are always friendly, i know many in classes who wear letters and that’s the only way i know they were a part of a sorority.

Wow, just wow. Can’t believe someone would do this to her and put it on here. That is disgusting and vile. The previous post was obviously by someone ignorant, sheltered and unaware of the socialism of diverse cultures. It is absolutely used as a term of endearment between black men. Where have you been? I bet your are someone that just got nervous bc of the word black??!!! Right?? If that word makes you so uncomfortable, it explains why you obviously don’t associate with those outside of your white privileged glass house. You probably sweat if someone says the color black in front of a black person. Look in the mirror at who is the actual perpetrator here. She did not use the word, she reported the use of the word. Shame on you for that post, it only highlights your ignorance to the real world. I certainly hope that isn’t reflective of the entire KKG chapter. That would be a shame To the organization

All of the Kappa girls are classy, kind and unproblematic. That being said it makes sense that the girl making all of these nasty comments was kicked out of the chapter after saying a racial slur and referring to it as a "term of endearment". In absolutely no context is that word a "term of endearment" or should ever be used in ANY CONTEXT. Kappa does not stand for this type of behavior, hence this girls immediate dismissal from the chapter.

Take note, the individual doesn’t know the facts or the difference between usage and reporting a situation. Working at the University, I can tell you the DEI department is well informed of what happened and absolutely appalled at Kappa

I’m in another chapter at WVU and only have positive things to say about the phi girls. When i went through recruitment they were one of my top houses and were all very sweet and genuine. Even though i didn’t end up going phi the girls are still so kind and fun. They definitely know how to have a good time too!
