rush!!
by: TransferI will be transferring to South next spring semester, and I will be a sophomore. I was wondering if there is any point in rushing that fall as a junior? I have a high GPA at my CC, and will hopefully have a high GPA at South going into rush. I know freshman are preferred so, would recs help someone like me that isn't necessarily "first choice"? Thanks!!

First I would check and see if any of the sororities are doing spring rush! it's the most laid back and theres usually a sorority or two that does it, depending on the pledge class size of the previous fall. If you want to be in a sorority your last two years, it doesn't hurt to try it! I rushed as a sophomore and got a bid from my top house. it just depends!
