This chapter is nothing but laughed at by the Greek community on campus. They are known as the "grab all" sorority that just takes what's left over during rush. None of the girls have prominent social standing, and last year it was said that many girls in last year's pledge class had bad reputations. This year, not much has changed, unfortunately. They like to badmouth every other group on campus, when nobody else even acts like they exist. They don't participate in Greek events. This year they had so few girls to host rush that their national headquarters sent good rushers from other chapters to help them during rush week. A lot of girls in their new pledge class were very disappointed to find out that their rush favorites weren't even members of the chapter. It's embarrassing, and everyone wonders how their chapter wasn't shut down years ago.

these girls are awesome. they are laid back and kick it with the guys and still be classy. i have had the best time with some of them so far this semester. i am in a frat at south and honestly i think the reason why people hate on alpha gam is because they don't care about living up to anyones social status. these girls aren't caught up in drama and are really sweet. they were the only ones on campus to bake us cupcakes during rush week. this year i must say they have gotten a few good looking girls. i think a lot of girls are jealous who are part of a sorority already because i see alpha gam turning around into something new. i think this is my favorite sorority at south. classy NICE GENUINE GIRLS.
