incoming freshman rushing

I’m an incoming freshman and definitely want to rush a fraternity this semester. I’ve gotten some advice by guys saying just try to make it to as many events as possible, but i feel that might be kinda hard to do with the number of fraternities. Can anyone give me like a short description of what each frat is like so i have an idea of going into rush

This is what IFC kickoff is for, every frat sets up a table with their recruitment chair and a couple other guys. Go there and talk to a bunch of people and you should get a good idea of which frats you’d fit in best at
