do sororities take less sophomores or not take sophomores on purpose ? and how much does knowing people in a sorority help?

it’s hard to tell, but the overall consensus is no it doesn’t matter, however i’ve heard rumors that some sororities are stricter with grade cuts to sophomores

They definitely take sophomores - my friend is a sophomore and got into an upper/mid sorority this year. She loves it!
