How much do sororities actually look into your gpa if you have met the requirement?

you are automatically cut from a majority if you don't have at least a 3.0

should i even bother rushing with a 2.934 gpa. I'm really bummed because I did well in all my classes with As and Bs besides 1. I wanted to give rushing a chance but not if i'm going to get cut right away.
