gpa for sorority rush

The 2.5 GPA requirement is the bare minimum panhel requires for you to participate. Once you're in a sorority, you are expected to maintain a certain GPA too.
Most sororities do cut people with anything below a 3.0. Why would we accept the bare minimum requirements?? Theres like 900 girls who rush who all were captain of their sport team in high school and volunteer teaching kids to read and run marathons, let me pick the one with the worst GPA. We are in school to get a degree afterall....
