I know DZ is gonna delete this again, like all of their other posts. But. Old DZ sucked. Yes. Bad things went down. They tanked their reputation and were nasty to women. But there are two new members who are innocent. To those two: nothing I'm about to say is to you. In any way, shape, or form. You're innocent in this. But to old DZ: You were toxic. You hide from the truth but what real change have you made? Are you taking care of your new women? Treating them with respect? You talk big game about how being a part of something small means you have a say in things, so why become a dictator when it all goes downhill? That was the most important time to listen to the needs of your women and you didn't. People left because even in a sea of only ten voices they still weren't able to be heard. Don't promote yourselves as advocating for giving women a voice. Just because you're small doesn't mean you're actually allowing people to have any say. You're just using it as a platform to use your own to silence others. Become an advocate for your members, not a conqueror. Maybe then things will change.

I think that DZ should be given a chance by upcoming sophomores. Yes some women had very bad experiences but that doesn’t mean everyone will. There are a good amount of women who left but there’s also the same amount who stayed. There’s always drama in Greek life. But just because there was issues this year with past women doesn’t mean there will be in the future. Do they have to work on some things? Yeah. But that’s also because they’re still relatively new to campus. Each organization hits rough patches. This is theirs.
