Greek life at UCF is less than 5% of the student body and well over half of that is sorority enrollment. The houses are nice and way better than living in the dorms on campus plus parking is easier. The best part is having a group of girls that support you and have shared common interests to help you through the more difficult times when classes feel never ending and there aren’t enough hours in the day. Join for the sisterhood and not the status because there really isn’t Greek status at ucf since the community is so small in comparison to the massive university. Within the Greek community you will meet others and can choose to get very involved in Greek life or be very involved in UCF life by attending sports events and joining other organizations. There are so many people to meet and things to do on campus that a Greek chapter becomes like your foundation but not the entire picture. Think of it like your lunch table during high school. Your core group that you chose and have a lot in common with but most of your days are spent with a variety of different people.
