TAMU Greeklife summed up in one word: mid. If you feel it's something you really need, then do it. But I say save the $$$ and join an org. You'll still meet a ton of people but there's usually less drama. For girls look at Sweethearts, Ryllies, Belles, AZX or Maggies. For guys check out AMA, AMC, AGI or BCA.
