Comment:  My experience with AOE was honestly disappointing. It’s advertised as a sisterhood for women in STEM, but in reality, it often felt cliquey and exclusionary. A lot of members talked about empowerment and support, but those values were rarely practiced consistently. If you weren’t part of the inner circle, it was easy to feel invisible or disregarded. Leadership often lacked professionalism, and communication was messy
