Just finished research at the state of Wisconsin historical society, with the help of an archivist there. The history of this fabled institution indicates that it did have difficulty in 1931, and at that time it was shut down by the University. However, when they built the new city on top of the old Madison, and buried the building, it appears that the fraternity continued to operate serendipitously. This continued for about 30 years, until the last member died off. It is shrouded in mystery, suspicion, and trail of potential corpses. Not the place where you want to spend Halloween! Or do you?
