According to their advisor at the time, girls in other sororities are not allowed to wear sdt shirts. Every frat president and social chair were invited automatically to the crush party, regardless of their relationship status and sisters were instructed to just "invite three boys they thought were cute" even if they didn't know them. It was purely based on, like the title of the party, a crush. The boys had the option to turn down the invitation if they so pleased, and it's possible if they were in a relationship the sister that invited them was unaware.
