This is not true. The sorority broke apart because some girls wanted to start a local organization so that they could throw parties and not be under nationals' thumb. I know because I'm roommates with one of them, and this breaking apart stuff started last year, way before that pledge ever expressed interest in joining. The pledge is what they're using as an excuse to get sympathy so that they can start a local organization. I'm not an AOPi but if I were one, I'd tell the former sisters good riddance.
