How do elderly people read? I’m sorry but I thought they read like everyone else. Isn’t the whole point more about doing something nice for someone. Not the fact that they didn’t write backwards? If you were educated, you would know that some elderly people have trouble with their vision. So really just knowing that someone took time to do something sweet for them would brighten their day. I’m sure those residents loved watching the girls of AOII outside their windows with their smiling faces. That’s what service is about! Not if you look good doing it or you have the best grades. Service isn’t about you....it’s about bringing happiness and love to others.
