I watched recruitment unfold from afar and am so excited to be attending MSU next year and going through recruitment! While I love all of the pix and vids the sororities post, I haven't seen anything about if they prefer instate, out of state, or are open to non-southern pmns. I'll be coming from the midwest but my folks are from the south and I plan on living and teaching in MS after I graduate. Do the houses tell us if they are open to non-southern pnms? And will I get cut from certain houses because of it even though I have a high GPA, hs leadership, tons of volunteer involvement, plus other activities and awards?
