I recall being in a cut session two years ago where we eliminated a woman who I thought would be a real asset to our chapter. But a member of my chapter talked about how the potential PNM dated a guy in high school who had just broken up with the member's cousin and her cousin was heartbroken. I thought that was so unfair because 1. we didn't even know if this girl knew he had just broken up with someone 2. we only heard one side of the story and 3. it's HIGH SCVHOOL for god's sake. I guess my point is that if you don't know anyone in any sorority, they can't cut you for really ridiculous reasons. Count your blessings, because there are houses that heavily recruit just friends, and you sure don't want to be in one of those houses, either.
