The lower the GPA the worse the retention. If a house has retention issues (you can tell because they're the ones who are always doing informal/COBing just to keep their numbers up), the less likely it is that you will make friends for life. That's because the girls in that house aren't serious about school OR their sorority. They are here today and gone tomorrow. Word to the wise: STAY AWAY FROM THE HOUSES WITH THE LOWEST GPA.
