"Cut rooms" are rooms that active take PNMs to if they're planning on being cut. Like say, half of the girls are led left, half right. One of them are the top PNMs, one is the bottom. I don't think anyone has "cut rooms" though. In my house, we have a ranking system. You're green, yellow, red, or black depending on your gpa, Rec status, reputation, etc. and those colors do mean we take you to certain places, BUT these colors are set in stone. I know I was a red when I came through because my house was the only one I didn't have a rec for and I didn't know anyone because I was from the north. I ended up being one of my houses top PNMs and I moved to green. Every house has different systems in place. And no one knows what each house does.
