That's great that you're really into academics! I know that is something my sorority values. However, I would be very careful when you talk like this. It almost kind of comes across like you think you're too smart for us--which you may not have meant this at all, but that is how it seemed to me. I know I was honestly surprised by how smart, well-rounded and accomplished all the women in my chapter are when I first joined. Sorority women are so much more than what the media portrays them. We have national merit scholars, fulbright scholars, and some of the smartest, most talented students at UA in our chapters--you will fit right in. Not everyone is super into academics, but don't think that if you are you will be considered "weird."
