I'm an active and recommendation chair currently taking a break from entering recommendations into our database. It's doable to do it without a rec, but a rec is your introduction to us. We've had recs coming in for months and my sisters and I have a lot of girls that we want to rush hard into our house. I'm not saying it's impossible, but unless we love you and get our advisors to write you a rec, you won't be on our bid list simply because we require a rec letter in order to extend a bid.
