OMG THIS IS THE TOP TIER: AXO/ADPi/AGD/AOPi/AlphaPhi/ChiO/DDD/DG/DZ/GPhiB/Theta/KD/Kappa/Phi Mu/PiPhi/ZTA STOP with the rankings and tiers. Each house has one or more "top tier qualities." Every house has beautiful girls, smart girls, athletic girls, kind girls, funny girls, etc. It's a huge group of girls, and you WILL be able to find your niche, no matter what house you end up at. If you go through recruitment and get dropped by the houses you really loved, DON'T DROP OUT! Give the other chapters a chance to show you what they have to offer. Also, try to go in with as much of an open mind as possible. Don't have your heart set on one certain sorority because that is just setting you up for heartbreak. If you receive a bid, you are not obligated to accept the bid if you don't want to. However, it is in your best interest to at least give them a week. Give the house and the girls a shot. Some girls get released from recruitment entirely. Don't let stereotypes deter you from a house either. Just because sorority ABC is known for sleeping around and sorority XYZ is known for being stuck up, you may find YOUR perfect home there. Also remember, this is YOUR recruitment and YOUR future sisters, not your best friend's. It would be awesome if y'all ended up together, but it's very important for you to make your own decisions during rush. I know rush can be scary, but just breathe and relax. The actives are just as nervous as you!
