I understand that it can be a harsh reality in the other side, esp if you're in a house that is particularly selective... Watching people get cut for what feels like really shallow reasons can be awful, particularly if you think your sisters aren't the "mean girl" types going into recruitment. But if you are very sensitive, greek life In general might not be your thing,... At least at a campus like bama. There are competitive mean girls in every house who want to improve their pledge classes, and mean things get said in EVERY house, not just the "top" ones. This might be why some sororities have larger senior classes... Legacies rarely drop when they pledge their legacy house, relatives prepare you for this environment and the legacy knows that they need to continue the tradition
