Wow, I disagree completely. I can't imagine leaving my sorority early. I literally want to cherish every moment I have in it! It's so sad to me that people feel so disconnected from their chapter. The members that drop are the members that didn't fully get the real experience- they didn't dive head first and get involved within their sorority. My advice is this: get to know every single girl in your pledge class, get involved- run for positions!!!! When they need volunteers to represent the organization somewhere- GO!!!!, live in the house at least one year, eat your meals at the house, never miss a date party, go to chapter! Your parents are paying up to $8000 a year for you to do this. You better go all out or don't rush at all. Sororities are truly a special thing and so many people don't view it that way. my experience in my sorority has been the biggest blessing, but I guarantee if I didn't live in the house or get involved I wouldn't feel that way.
