youre right. They most likely included that $300 just as a heads up that you will spend that per semester on tshirts, sweatshirts, hats, photos. Most sororities switched to a new payment system this year, so it isn't required that you give $300. Instead, you will now order your tshirts and things online. Axo probably gives the most accurate financial obligation than any other sorority, which is a good thing because they want to make sure the members they pledge can afford it and will not drop when they realize they cant.
