<strong>Subject:</strong><br />recruitment happiness<br /><br /> Poster Message:
Go into recruitment with the attitude that you want to be greek and will be happy in whichever house you end up in. Truly tiers don't matter and truly all our houses have some outstanding girls. All of them. Decide in advance that whichever house you get on bid day, even if it wasn't your favorite, (even if it was your least favorite), decide that you'll go into it with your whole heart. Get involved immediately and with a smile on your face. Meet people and really get to know them. Invite girls in your class to study with you or go for coffee. Run for an office in your new member class. Hang out at the house with the older girls. DON"T WAIT TO FALL IN LOVE WITH THEM. Deliberately decide to fall in love on bid day. Every house, regardless of the rank you see on greekrank is a great house and full of girls who CAN be you life long friends. YOU have to make the decision of whether you want that. You can still be friends with girls from other houses, but COMMIT to your house on bid day and DON"T LOOK BACK. That's the best recipe for happiness I would add that I've seen individual girls make a huge difference in a house's popularity. If a girl is outstanding, sometimes she can shine brighter in a house that doesn't have as many "stars." So don't feel embarrassed that you got a lower house, see it as a challenge and maybe in four years it will be a middle or higher ranked house because of you.
