Technically you're allowed to wear whatever you want! The only reason PNM's tend to stay away from white and black is because often actives are wearing those colors, specifically on pref. But no matter what you wear you're bound to match the actives at some point or another.. For example aoii wears red one round, and gamma phi wears pink. What I would stay away from is wearing a specific sorority's colors, like if your dress is just blue and yellow or pink and green.
