I think what is most important is that a pnm learns what a bid promise is. My friend was devastated when chi o cut her after skit, and event reported them for bid promising. But it CLEARLY wasn't bid promising. The active simply told her they loved her and loved seeing her in their house. They told her they hoped she felt comfortable there because everyone who met her that week just adored her. Well, she got cut, and cried and cried because they "bid promised" her. That is not a bid promise! A bid promise is saying "we can't wait for you to be a member of chi o and I can't wait to see you on our lawn on bid day- you're gonna look great in that red and yellow"
