It's less about money and more about what the reputation of each sorority is where you plan live. So say you'll be going back home to mountain brook and in that town the top 3 are abc, Def, ghi. It's not uncommon for a girl to drop out if none of those 3 are left because in some places in the south it's better to be a GDI than to be from an undesirable sorority. It's ridiculous.
