APhi generally does well during Fall Rush, pulling lots of girls (esp OOS) who are attractive and social. This has been especially true the past two years. The problem is, many of the girls who go APhi have historically been less committed to sorority life in the long run, so you see huge numbers of drops - even during pledgeship but also from juniors and seniors. Each year they end up having to COB 30-50 new girls. COB in and of itself isn't a bad thing or a "dark mark" against sororities, but it's an indicator of retention nonetheless, and it's worth noting that is an area where they struggle. That could change this year, but this is what the trend has been.
