I was cut from all the houses I went into rush wanting. I read all the posts about GPA cuts below 3.5 but I was hoping it was an exaggeration. Unfortunately, it wasn’t. To any girls thinking of rushing in the future, I can’t emphasize enough how much a low GPA impacts your initial invites. Beautiful, doesn’t matter. Have tons of girls following you, doesn’t matter. Know members, doesn’t matter Legacy, doesn’t matter Letters of rec, doesn’t matter If I could go back to talk to my early high school self I’d tell her that she better take her grades more seriously or say good-bye to the sorority girl life you dream about.
