I may be angry right now, but I'm angry because of the unjust slander being leveled against my sisters and my sorority. Firstly, ZTA is about more than just parties and TikToks. It's about sisterhood, growth, and facilitating opportunities for personal development that extend far beyond our college years. It's an organization that fosters leadership, community service, academic excellence, and character building. These are not petty pursuits but goals that pave the way for a future full of achievements and triumphs. Secondly, social media does not define us or our values. Yes, we celebrate and showcase our sisterhood on these platforms, but that's a small part of our broader narrative. The world is digital, and we're just trying to stay connected to family, friends, our communities, and yes, potential new members. There's nothing fundamentally wrong or degrading about that. Lastly, you're mistaken if you think your ill-informed opinions will deter us or prospective members. ZTA empowers young women, inspiring us to break barriers and defy stereotypes.
