I posted this recently elsewhere but I had similar stats to the second person who responded. I had really good grades and strong involvement in high school. Because of my major, I wanted a house that would give me a chance to focus on leadership, campus involvement and academics. I was immediately cut from XO, PM, AGD, KD and ZTA. For sisterhood I went to AXO, DDD, KKG from OR and PiPhi, Theta, APhi and DG from NR. Got invited back to all of them except KKG for pref. Ended up in the house I liked the best during sisterhood round. FYI, I think one of the reasons that AXO was a good match for me during recruitment is that I have a personal connection to the issue of domestic violence, and volunteered at a shelter in high school. That's AXO's philanthropy. So I would definitely suggest that if you do any volunteering, talk about that during rush, especially if it's an issue that is important to you. You'll do great! Just don't worry too much.
