You get the same Bama greek experience with both, both have great girls. Old Row is usually a little harder to get a bid from and there is some prestige to getting a bid from an old row house. But I really think it matters mostly to southern girls. Girls from OOR probably don't care as much. There are 7 old row houses and there are different stories about how those houses became old row, but I think it is because the old row fraternities chose them as their favorites a long time ago and it stuck as part of the Bama greek tradition.
