It makes sense to rank new row separate from old row. Rush is different for those who are already well connected and that competitive factor is part of the reality. If you don’t have ANY connections at all to old row and are coming from out of region (north, west, east) - you should rank them slightly lower and concentrate a little more on New Row. Old Row houses that took more out of region pnms last rush were DDD, AGD, PM, AXO and KKG. KD and XO do not take many girls that are not from the South. Rankings are fluid and they can change any time, but before Rush you should think about where you truly have existing connections and rank those higher. Then during rush it’s all about finding the chapters that want you and where you feel you are comfortable because. Ranks don’t matter if the house just doesn’t fit. Some chapters that are less popular here are better and more desired, for people who fit better because of their personality or goals. Go where you fit. Every chapter at Bama is strong. Think about social, achievement, studies, religion, geographic fit, etc to make sure to adjust rankings to your personality. Girls that want to have fun and party don’t want a house that just studies all the time and vice versa.
