Yes - you have a chance. It takes social skill, the ability to talk to all types, etc., but your local/hometown isn’t a limiting factor. Also, ignore these ranks - they really don’t matter if you are OOR as you don’t care if you are with “grade 13” from HS. All houses offer a great experience and in many respects, you are more free to focus on what appeals to you. Best of luck. Have fun.
