Going to be the odd one out. If you are a certain personality you might be able to go through recruitment, enjoy the experience, and find your posse. You might be happy wherever you land on Bid Day and getting a bid at Bama is amazing. For the large majority it is really, really important that they land in a certain house. Many have two or three houses that they are hoping for. Sure, they may not end up there, but the large majority do have a top few picks and for countless reasons. I am not going to pass judgement and say that is wrong. It is a commitment and they are paying for this membership. It is really easy to say to a PNM just be happy wherever you land, but we all know it is not that simple. Easier said after you have accepted your bid and spent two or three years in a house at Bama.
