Nothing changes at bama. This is my last semester and every single year whenever I hear people's opinions on the sororities it's ALWAYS the same 3-4 top houses, same 2-3 bottom, same old debate of old vs new row, etc etc etc. When I was an underclassman I'd hear people talking about how "(bottom house X) got SUCH a great pc, they're really improving!" or "ugh how is (top old row house Y) still relevant to anyone but like the super southern mommies" But even after YEARS of those same judgements and after YEARS of top houses stagnating and bottom houses doing fantastic, the common opinions on ranks are ALL THE SAME. i swear, everyone talking about sorority ranks (online or in person) just like mentally copied and pasted some random post from 2018 greekrank. Do we actually care about sisterhood, personality, academic achievement, looks, and clout? No! This school just cares about what's been happening for the past 15 years! Bama is just full of people whose mommies told them some sorority ranking from when THEY went to school or non-southerners who saw one greekrank post years ago and took it as law. This culture is so unsustainable. We need to care about what makes a sorority TRULY GREAT instead of rumors from years ago!
